4-day workshop for the Performance HUMAN ERROR
Dates: 2nd – 5th October 2025
Take part in a masterclass by Austrian born, Australian artist Bello Benischauer at Kunsthaus am Schneeberg during his residency for the Festival 2025, including overnight accommodation in the space. The Masterclass will introduce you to the EXISTENCE THEATRE method, developed by the artist over the past two decades, focusing on experimental forms of performance art, sound and movement around embedded processes of identity and transcultural belonging. Bello has presented his concepts on transcultural theatre at different international events.

Intended for: Individuals with experience in theatre, movement, or dance are encouraged to participate, regardless of their artistic or cultural backgrounds.
Participants should be willing to acquire new skills and adjust to their peers, while also encouraging initiative. This experience will be profoundly introspective, utilising dramatisation as a means of self-expression. The project aims to attract individuals who embrace self-reflection and enjoy collaborative work.
The masterclass will culminate in a performance at the Festival, offering opportunities for discussion.

Grünbach is only an hour away from Vienna, whether you choose to travel by train or by car. The train station is just a 10-minute walk from the town, ensuring easy access to the area.
